Food Lab: Chocolate Krantz

How do food educators learn new foods and techniques- we practice and experiment- and we are inviting you to join the fun! Once a month through the fall and winter, we will be holding a food lab and you are welcomed to stop by! Food Lab classes are free, as outcomes may vary.

Chocolate Krantz

This babka is a beautiful and delicious yeasted bread filled with chocolate sauce, pecans and sugar and rolled in a braid shape. This recipe isn’t all that complicated; it just requires time and patience, but that’s not very different from baking bread. And little known fact- Krantz was my dad’s nickname for me as a kid. So I really want to learn this bread!
