Our Cooking camps are a great introduction to cooking—learning how to cook for yourself is an important life skill that builds confidence and learning in a community of peers is fun!
At the Co-op we want to excite students of all ages to feel confident in the kitchen by learning new skills, exploring new flavors, and creating healthy seasonal food so budding young chefs can become active participants in the kitchen at home.
2020 Cooking Camps
Our Cooking camps are a great introduction to cooking—learning how to cook for yourself is an important life skill that builds confidence and learning in a community of peers is fun! At the Co-op we want to excite students of all ages to feel confident in the kitchen by learning new skills, exploring new flavors, and creating healthy seasonal food so budding young chefs can become active participants in the kitchen at home.
Our Sous-Chef camps (ages 6-9) are designed specifically for elementary-aged children’s attention spans with a good engaging pace and age-appropriate recipes and skills!
Our Jr. Chef camps (ages 10-14) are the next step up- with more responsibility and independence. For these reasons, we do ask that you please respect the age restrictions for each camp.
Please read our risk waivers or email us at classes [at] coopfoodstore.com if you have any questions.
Note: Camps run Monday – Friday of camp week. We do not pro-rate camp weeks. Each day we will provide campers with a healthy snack (and lunch for Jr. Chef all day summer camps) and food to take home. At the conclusion of the camp week, each camper will receive a cookbook of the week’s recipes and other take-home keepsakes.
