Lomo saltado is a popular dish that is a uniquely Peruvian style of Chinese food. It incorporates Peruvian ingredients and is altered to suit Peruvian tastes, however is based in Peru’s Chinese Immigrant culture.
The dish is technically a stir-fry that combines marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and other ingredients; and is usually served with rice. And it is oh so good.
