Dear Co-op shoppers and fans of zingy flavors everywhere!
Let me tell you about a new Co-op Pick that I’m personally super excited about: Tari Hot Sauces! If you’re anything like me and love adding a little (or a lot!) of extra kick to your meals, you’ve got to check these out. Tari is Peru’s favorite hot sauce and it’s bringing some serious flavor to our shelves.
What I really love about Tari is you can honestly taste the care and quality that goes into every single bottle. The folks at Tari use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and that’s it–no weird artificial stuff. Just pure, vibrant heat and deliciousness that really shines through.
I also like the variety. Whether you’re a seasoned spice adventurer who always has a bottle on hand, or maybe you’re just looking to dip your toes into the world of hot sauce, Tari has something for everyone. I’ve been trying them out, and here are a couple of favorites:
Tari Rocoto Pepper Hot Sauce. This sauce offers a bold, smoky flavor with a creamy texture and a medium, building heat, derived from the unique black-seeded rocoto pepper. It’s fantastic for adding a savory depth and kick to grilled meats, scrambled eggs, or even as a creamy, spicy dip for fries.
Tari Aji Amarillo Hot Sauce. Known for its vibrant yellow hue and a milder, tangier profile, this creamy sauce delivers bright, fruity notes of tropical fruit like passion fruit and apricot, with a gentle heat. It’s incredibly versatile for enhancing chicken and fish dishes, breakfast tacos, or as a flavorful spread on sandwiches.
I’ve been putting these sauces on everything—tacos, my morning eggs, grilled veggies, and anything else I can come up with. They’re even great stirred into a hearty soup.
You can find Tari Hot Sauce in our Lebanon store. Give these a try and let me know what you think in the comments. I’m always looking for new ways to spice things up!
