Need a little pick-me-up? We have a recommendation—think spring! In addition to being warm and colorful and full of happy bees and flowers, spring is our yearly reminder from planet Earth that cold, dark times won’t last forever.
If you like to get your hands dirty when the weather gets warmer, now is the time to reserve a community garden plot. The Norwich Community Garden has 20’ x 20’ plots available to gardeners for the 2025 season. The garden is sponsored by the Co-op and located on Route 5 in Vermont next to the Norwich Farmers Market. Gardeners are a lively bunch who support each other and garden organically.
If you’re interested in a plot and joining a supportive and diverse community of gardeners, or if you would like to be kept on a wait list for future garden plot openings, email Pat Fisken at patricia.b.fisken@dartmouth.edu for more information. But heads up—don’t wait! Plots can go quickly so email soon.
