Big News! Citrus Sale Jan 8–11

Back in 1936, a few local families decided they’d had enough of the winter gloom and put in bulk orders for crates of Florida sunshine. That little act of citrus-fueled defiance was the start of our co-op. Fast forward 90 years, and we’re still here, still sour about the weather, and still obsessed with oranges.

Next week we’re kicking off our 90th year with our annual citrus sale! Save the dates and stay tuned for details.

Why Shop the Co-op?

We were founded as a small buying club in 1936. Today we’re community-owned by 30K+ members, with 3 food stores and 2 auto service centers in the beautiful Upper Valley of NH & VT. We’re one of the oldest and largest food co-ops in the United States.

Being a cooperative means we don’t just care about profit, we care about people and the planet. It also means we act as buying agents for our member-owners, not as selling agents for food corporations.

We ❤️ local! We offer 4,000+ products grown or made within a 100-mile radius of our stores. Anyone can shop, member or not!
