Co-op Citrus Sale January 8–11

Back in 1936, a few local families pooled their resources to order Florida citrus by the case and brighten up the winter gloom. Fast forward 90 years and we’re still here. Still sour about the weather. Still obsessed with oranges!

Why Shop the Co-op?

A co-op is a business owned and democratically controlled by its members. Instead of outside shareholders, members pool resources and share control. It’s a very different way of doing business, since the same people who use the co-op also own and run it.

Being a cooperative means we don’t just care about profit, we care about people and the planet. It also means we act as buying agents for our member-owners, not as selling agents for food corporations.
