Back-to-School Sale Coming Soon

Big news! Our big honkin’ Back-to-School Weekend Sale is coming to all stores August 20-23. Look for big savings on lunch staples, nutritious snacks, quick dinners, and even laundry detergent for when some kid stomps on a yogurt tube just to see if it explodes. (Spoiler alert: it does.)

Does Thursday count as the weekend? Asking for a friend.

Come to Our Birthday Bash and Get Free Stuff! (Sorry, Not Fanny Packs)

In August of 1936, one man in a fanny pack launched our community-owned business with nothing more than a humble corn roast and a dream. Okay none of that is true. But wouldn’t it be cool if it was?! *finger guns* Save the date and join us Friday, August 28, from 5-7 p.m. at our WRJ store for Maize Days II: The Seasoning of the Cob! That’s right, to celebrate 90 years in business and an origin story that has absolutely nothing to do with August or corn whatsoever, our staff will be roasting sweet, delicious local corn and giving it away FREE!
