Updated 11/19/2024

Grimmway Farms, a global produce company in Bakersfield, Calif., that grows conventional and organic vegetables for retailers all over the world, has announced a recall of select organic whole carrots and organic baby carrots that may have been contaminated with E. coli O121:H19, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and those with a weakened immune system.

Organic baby carrots with best-if-used-by-dates ranging from September 11 through November 12, 2024.
