Service Animal Policy

Did you bring me anything?
This handsome rock star would love to hear about your grocery trip when you get home!
We Love Your Mutts! But Unless They’re Service Animals, Please Leave Them at Home
Hey co-op community!
We love seeing all your smiling faces in our stores, and we know your scaly, furry, and feathered friends are part of the family. That said, as we work to make sure everyone has a safe and comfortable shopping experience, we wanted to send out a friendly reminder:
Unless they’re service animals, please help us out by keeping your pets outside our stores.
Don’t get us wrong. We LOVE that you don’t want to leave your furry companion in a hot car! But ideally, please leave them at home before heading out on your shopping trip. This isn’t just a Co-op policy; it’s also based on food safety guidelines from the USDA, which advises against pets in food establishments. (Sadly this includes your pet scorpion Larry, your pet bearded dragon Smaug, and lots of other critters, too.)
Thanks for understanding! Let’s keep our stores safe and sanitary for everyone. Please see our full guidelines below.
