Who are we?

We’re one of the oldest and most successfull cooperative businesses in the United States. In spite of our long history, there’s an all-new energy here, and we want you to be part of it.

What is our board?

Throughout the years, a tenacious and forward-thinking group of wonderful humans (we call them board members!) has led our cooperative from its small and humble roots to its current place of distinction. Meetings are monthly, elections are yearly, and we have four open seats up for election next year.

Who are you?

You’re someone who supports our values and wants to play a vital role in ensuring the continued success of one of the nation’s most storied cooperative organizations. You like sweet perks like a yearly stipend you can put toward your shopping bill (at our stores, please), and putting your problem-solving skills to work for a better world.
